About Your Inspector
I am an independent home inspector using the latest technology to complete thorough home inspections on behalf of my clients. I use thermal imaging, continuous radon monitors and high quality, industry specific instrumentation to inspect the property you may purchase. I use every bit of my experience and training to address your concerns and take all the time needed to answer your questions. I am very patient and enjoy working with 1st time buyers. I work very hard to stay up to date and am currently committed to over 60 hours of continuing education annually to maintain my license, certifications, accreditations and membership to InterNACHI.
I have inspected many homes over the years and have learned that using cheap tools from a big box store, to save a few bucks (quite a few) at the expense of the overall quality of the inspection, isn’t worth it. Or offering services that I consider essential as an “upgrade” so I can compete with less thorough inspectors really doesn’t serve your best interests. Instead, I’ll make my pricing readily available to you so you can move on quickly if price is the determining factor in your decision.
I am proud to be a member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors and have earned a number of their certifications. I am licensed by the State of Maryland and I am both certified and accredited by the Maryland Department of the Environment.

Purchasing a new home is one of the largest investments most people will make in their lifetime. The process of buying a home is an exciting and fun time but is also very emotional and most of the time stressful. This emphasizes the need for an unbiased, third party home inspection which can bring perspective and peace of mind to the process. A well trained, experienced home inspector can save you literally thousands of dollars in repair cost for deficiencies in the home that were either not disclosed or not evident.
We are able to identify deficiencies which are present in the home and can recognize prior repairs which have been made and in many cases can see the potential for future problems that may exist. We encourage you to accompany us on the inspection and to ask questions as we move through the inspection process. This enables us to familiarize you with the house and educate you on the operations and maintenance issues of the various systems in the house.
Our property inspection reports are thorough, clear and concise, with digital photos for added clarity. Reports are delivered within 24 hours and are emailed to you in PDF format for fast, easy delivery, printing and storage.
It would be our privilege to help reduce your risk as you make one of the largest purchases of your lifetime. With our experience and desire to complete the most thorough inspections possible, you can rest at ease knowing your new home has been thoroughly inspected. After the inspection, we remain available for any questions or follow up that may be required.
My Promise to You
Choosing the right home inspector can be difficult. Unlike most professionals, you probably will not get to meet me until after you hire me. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods and yes, different pricing. One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires work, a lot of work. Ultimately a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s own effort. If you honor me by permitting me to inspect your new home, I guarantee that I will give you my very best effort. This I promise you.
